03 MAVA Substation

In 2022, Metro Arts transformed the heritage site ‘Substation No. 9’ into the MAVA Substation, a community workshop and artist studio space.

In the lead-up to the launch, I designed the visual identity for the community outreach campaign, used across MAVA's social media and marketing.

The rough, grungey aesthetic references the DIY nature of the space, connecting with Metro Arts’ roots and the opportunity for community to come and get their hands dirty.
